Our story
From one Volusia city to all of Central Florida
ELR Restoration Inc. opened in June 2009 in Deltona, a Volusia County city where the weather gives no quarter: humidity year-round, summer storms, and a hurricane season that sets the calendar for half the state.
The work started local, house by house, with neighbors who called after a storm or a burst pipe. That origin explains how we still work today: when the person at your door lives twenty minutes away, reputation is not a marketing campaign — it is what people say about you in your own community.
From there operations spread toward Sanford, Altamonte Springs, Orlando and the rest of Central Florida. It was expansion by proximity, not by franchise: the same company covering a wider radius, rather than selling the name to somebody else.
Along the way we added the licenses we were missing. First to dry and rebuild. Then to assess and remediate mold, which in Florida are two separate licenses. And finally to work on roofs and air conditioning systems.
Why it matters
Five licenses under one roof
In Florida every trade requires its own license: one to assess mold, another to remove it, another to build, another for roofs and another for air conditioning. That is five separate credentials with the state, and very few restoration companies hold them all.
We hold all five. That means water damage that uncovers mold and ends in a new roof is handled with one estimate, one point of contact and one party accountable.
It also means the phases never wait on each other: on a job where mold shows up at 48 hours, going from dry-out to repair without a pause is the difference between drying and rebuilding.

How we work
Four things we do not negotiate
We tell you the truth, even when it costs us the job
If the roof can be repaired instead of replaced, we say so. If the damage does not justify opening a claim, we say that too. Losing a sale costs less than losing your reputation in a town where everyone knows each other.
We document as if the claim depended on it
Because it does. Dated moisture readings every day, photos before and during, and the scope in writing. It is what the adjuster needs in order to approve the work.
We answer the phone
At any hour, and a person answers. Nobody with water coming into the living room at eleven at night wants a voicemail box.
We work in English and Spanish
On the worst day of your year, you should not have to explain a technical problem in your second language.
