The real difference
What happens when the wall opens and there is water or mold
Nearly every remodel turns up something that was not on the plan: an old leak behind the cabinet, moisture in the drywall, mold at the base of the wall. It is normal, and it happens more than people think.
With most remodelers, that is where the job stops. They are not licensed to treat mold or to do structural drying, so the remodel sits half-finished for weeks while a second estimate nobody planned for takes shape.
We hold those licenses. It gets assessed, treated and the work continues — same contract, same accountable company, and the job does not stop.
Eric and his crew did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel! After having to treat an unexpected mold problem, they still completed the job on schedule!
We pull the permits
County paperwork is one of the slowest and most frustrating parts of a remodel. That is our job, not yours: we file, follow up and coordinate the inspections.
I have not had to deal directly with the Building Department because Eric has handled everything on our behalf.

Questions about remodeling
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
The work itself usually runs three to six weeks, but the real calendar is set by permits and by lead times on cabinets and countertops. At the consultation we give you a range that includes both, not just the working days.
Can I live in the house during the work?
For a kitchen or a bathroom, almost always yes: we work zone by zone and isolate the area. If it is a whole-home remodel or it touches the main electrical service, we discuss it before signing so you can plan.
What if mold or water damage shows up once you open it?
We keep working. We hold mold assessment and remediation licenses, so it gets treated inside the same job without stopping the schedule. It is documented, you are told the added cost, and the work continues.
Do you pull the permits?
Yes. We file with the county, follow up and coordinate the inspections. It is part of the job, not an extra that shows up on the invoice without warning.
Is financing available?
We work with homeowner financing providers. Approval, rate and term are set by the lender, not by us. Our financing page explains how it works and what to ask before you sign.
Can the estimate change mid-project?
Only if something turns up that was not visible at the inspection, and we always tell you before continuing. We never do extra work and invoice for it afterwards without discussing it first.
