If plumbing moves or the electrical panel gets touched, a permit is required. We pull it with your city or county.
Demolition and whatever turns up
This is where the surprises come out. If moisture appears, we deal with it without stopping the job.
Plumbing and electrical
Relocating supply, drain, circuits and outlets to suit the new layout, with county inspection.
Cabinets and countertops
Installed level and anchored. Countertops get templated after the cabinets are in, never before.
Finishes and final inspection
Backsplash, paint, hardware and appliances. We close the permit and hand you the paperwork.

It covers our workmanship. Materials additionally carry their manufacturer's warranty, which is handed over with the job.
It does not cover new damage. If a problem shows up later from another cause — another storm, another leak, lack of maintenance, or work done by somebody else — that is a separate loss and gets handled as one.
The term that applies to your job is put in writing in the service agreement before work starts.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?
The work itself usually runs three to six weeks. What really drives the calendar is not us: it is the lead time on cabinets and countertops, which have to be ordered ahead. That is why the order goes in as soon as the design is approved.
Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen?
It depends on the scope. Swapping cabinets and countertops without moving anything usually does not require one; moving plumbing, adding circuits or touching the panel does. We check with your city before starting and pull it ourselves.
Can I use the kitchen while the work is happening?
Not during demolition or installation. Most people set up a temporary kitchen elsewhere in the house with the fridge and microwave. We tell you in advance which days you will be without a sink.
What if mold turns up when the cabinets come out?
It happens more than people expect. It gets contained, remediated and the job keeps moving — documented in writing and with photos.
What drives the cost of a kitchen up the most?
Moving the plumbing and rerouting the electrical. Keeping the sink where it is saves a good deal. After that it is countertops: the difference between materials is the line item that moves the estimate most.
