Mold assessment and remediation in Orlando

Assessment, containment, protocol removal and clearance testing.

Florida's climate brings mold back if the moisture source is not eliminated.

Why it is urgent

What is happening in your property right now

In Orlando, ambient humidity feeds mold all year long. You do not need a flood: a slow leak, a badly drained air conditioner or an unventilated bathroom is enough.

A musty smell, dark staining in the corners, and allergies that only flare up indoors are the most common signs.

Wiping the stain with bleach solves nothing: as long as the moisture source is still there, the mold comes back to the same spot.

What it includes

The work, step by step

No fine print: this is exactly what we do, and in what order.

  1. Assessment first

An assessor identifies the type, the extent and — most importantly — the moisture source.

  2. Containment

Plastic barriers and negative air pressure so spores do not travel into the rest of the house during the work.

  3. Air filtration

HEPA air scrubbers capture airborne spores while the affected material is removed.

  4. Removal and treatment

We remove material that cannot be saved and treat the surfaces that can with an antimicrobial.

  5. Fix the source

We repair the leak, the drain or the ventilation that caused it. Without this, the mold returns.

  6. Clearance testing

Independent final verification confirming the area is back within normal parameters.

Why us

Why choose us for mold remediation

  • We correct the cause — leak, HVAC or roof — instead of only cleaning the surface.

  • You get the assessment report and the clearance results in writing: useful for your insurer and for selling the property.

  • We live and work in this community. We are not a national franchise dispatching a crew from another state.

Warranty

What we stand behind in writing

  • Interior repairs

    1 year

  • Roofing work

    20 years

It covers our workmanship. Materials additionally carry their manufacturer's warranty, which is handed over with the job.

It does not cover new damage. If a problem shows up later from another cause — another storm, another leak, lack of maintenance, or work done by somebody else — that is a separate loss and gets handled as one.

The term that applies to your job is put in writing in the service agreement before work starts.

Mold from a roof leak

A roof leak fed mold above the ceiling of this Orlando home. The room went under containment with the contents protected in plastic, the affected ceiling came out, and the exposed framing was treated and sealed before the rebuild.

Frequently asked

What people ask us most

If your question is not here, call us and we will answer it on the phone, no obligation.

How do I know I have mold if I cannot see it?

A persistent musty smell is the most reliable sign. So are allergies or a cough that improve when you leave the house, water stains on the ceiling and paint that bubbles. The assessment confirms it with instruments.

Does insurance cover mold remediation?

It depends on the origin. If the mold came from a covered event — a pipe that burst, for example — usually yes, though many Florida policies carry a specific mold sublimit. We document the origin with dated photos and moisture readings — that is what your adjuster uses to decide.

Can I stay in the house during the work?

Almost always, yes. Containment with negative air pressure keeps the work area isolated from the rest of the home. If the affected area is very large or someone has respiratory issues, we discuss it before starting.

Why is bleach not enough?

Bleach lightens the surface stain, but it does not penetrate porous materials like drywall or wood, and it does not remove the moisture feeding the mold. Within weeks it reappears in the same place.
